Verrado is a large master-planned community on the slopes of the White Tank Mountains in Buckeye, built around a walkable main street and a distinctive architectural style. Homes here are delivered with well-defined but largely blank backyards, which makes Verrado one of our strongest new-construction markets in the West Valley.
Because Verrado has a strong design identity and an active architectural review process, pool and hardscape design matters as much as construction here. Ground & Lot Conditions
Verrado climbs the eastern slope of the White Tank Mountains, so lots range from flat village parcels to elevated sites with grade change and rockier ground. Homes are 2000s and newer with defined backyards and, on smaller courtyard lots, genuinely tight access. Western exposure is intense here, which makes shade structures and heat-tolerant decking materials more than a preference.
Permits & Approvals
Verrado is within the City of Buckeye, so pool permits are issued by Buckeye. Verrado also has an active architectural review process with its own design standards, and approval is required before construction. We prepare the city submittal and the community design package together.
What We Build Most Here
Verrado is new construction. Most homes arrive with an empty backyard, so we are typically designing the complete outdoor space at once: a custom pool and spa, travertine or paver decking, a ramada or pergola sized for the western sun, and low-water landscaping.
