Moon Valley is an established north Phoenix neighborhood set around the Moon Valley Country Club at the base of Lookout Mountain and the North Mountain preserve. Homes here date largely from the 1960s through the 1980s, many on unusually large lots with mature trees, which gives the area a settled character that newer suburbs do not have.
That housing age makes Moon Valley a natural remodeling market. Most of the pools we work on here are original or on a second finish, with worn plaster, dated tile, and cracked concrete decking that has become uncomfortably hot.
