About Eastmark

Landscaping in Eastmark, AZ

Eastmark is one of the fastest-selling master-planned communities in Arizona, built on former General Motors proving-ground land in southeast Mesa. Homes are new, lots are flat and well defined, and the vast majority arrive without a pool, which makes it a consistent new-build market for us.

Eastmark homeowners tend to be families who want the backyard finished as one project rather than in stages: a pool with a Baja shelf for young kids, paver decking that stays comfortable underfoot, a shade structure, and turf or low-water landscaping that holds up to use. We design around that whole-yard brief rather than dropping a pool into the middle of an empty lot.

Because the community is still actively building, we are used to coordinating around new construction, builder warranties, and HOA design review. Contact us for a free on-site consultation and an itemized estimate.

Local Knowledge

Building a Pool in Eastmark

Every city in the Valley builds a little differently. Here's what actually matters on a Eastmark project.

Ground & Lot Conditions

Eastmark sits on flat, previously cleared land in southeast Mesa, so soil is workable, lots are level and regular, and excavation is about as straightforward as it gets in the Valley. Homes are 2010s and newer with defined backyards, though side-yard access between houses is often narrow. HOA architectural review applies community-wide.

Permits & Approvals

Eastmark is within the City of Mesa, so pool permits are issued by Mesa Development Services and Mesa barrier requirements apply at final inspection. Eastmark's community association also requires design approval. We handle the city submittal and the HOA package together.

What We Build Most Here

Eastmark is a family new-build market. Most projects start from a bare backyard and finish as a complete outdoor space: a pool with a Baja shelf, paver decking, shade structure, and landscaping designed to stand up to kids and Arizona summers.

FAQ

Eastmark Landscaping Questions

Which Eastmark neighborhoods do you serve?
We work throughout Eastmark and the surrounding area, including Eastmark Great Park, Cadence at Gateway, Encore at Eastmark, Eastmark Legacy, Ranch House District, and the neighborhoods around them. If you're just outside Eastmark we almost certainly still cover you — AZ homeowners across the greater Phoenix Valley are our regular service area.
What are the most common pool projects in Eastmark?
The work we're asked for most in Eastmark is custom pool builds, baja shelves & family pools, paver pool decks, ramadas & shade structures. Every project starts with a free on-site consultation so we can assess your actual yard, access, and goals before putting a number to it.
How much does a pool project cost in Eastmark?
It depends entirely on scope. Resurfacing an existing pool or replacing a deck in Eastmark is a far smaller project than a new custom pool with decking, a spa, and water features. We give you a free on-site consultation and an itemized estimate, with no obligation and no pressure.
Do you handle the permit for my Eastmark project?
Yes. We prepare the plans, submit them to the correct authority for your address, pull the permit, and coordinate every inspection through final sign-off. See "Permits & Approvals" above for who issues permits in Eastmark.
How soon can you start a Eastmark project?
Typical lead time from signed contract to construction start is 1–3 weeks, depending on permitting, material availability, and crew scheduling. We give you a firm start date at the consultation rather than an open-ended window.
Are you licensed and insured to work in Eastmark?
Yes. AZ Pool Concepts is a licensed Arizona ROC contractor, bonded and insured, carrying general liability and workers' compensation on every Eastmark project. Our craftsmanship warranty covers installation and materials carry their manufacturer warranties.
