Desert Ridge is a large master-planned area in north Phoenix, developed mostly from the late 1990s through the 2000s around Tatum and the 101. Homes are well built on defined suburban lots, and the community is now old enough that it supports both new backyard builds and a growing volume of remodel work.
Typical Desert Ridge projects balance family use with design: a pool sized correctly for the lot with a Baja shelf, travertine or paver decking that stays comfortable in north Phoenix summers, a ramada or pergola for shade, and modern efficient equipment. Permits & Approvals
Desert Ridge is part of the City of Phoenix, so pool permits are issued by the Phoenix Planning and Development Department and Phoenix barrier requirements apply. Most Desert Ridge subdivisions add HOA design approval. We prepare the city submittal and the HOA package together.
